Board Patterns

Board patterns not only solve the unsightly butt joints created from spliced decking, but also adds great unique character to each individual deck. We have mixed Cedar with Mahogany and Ipe inlays. We will use an accent color for trim on your wood or composite deck. We are known to use contrasting material or color on the deck rail to create a classy look. This 500 square foot upper level deck was built in the Orchards section of New Market Maryland using Fiberon Western Cedar composite boards with Fiberon Tudor Brown for the inlays, picture frame border and stair treads. This project features a unique Checker Board pattern not often seen on composite decking. We strategically placed i-lightings LED post lights approximately 18 inches above the deck surface along with adding riser lights to the stairs. The white Monument vinyl rails add a nice compliment to the decking. - New Market, MD

This night photo of a 1200 square foot Fiberon composite deck with Monument vinyl rails was built in the Holly Hills Golf Course Community of Ijamsville Maryland. We installed over 80 LED light fixtures into this deck, including a lighted cap on top of every rail post, a bullet light into the decking between every rail post, a small light on the outside of the deck opposite the bullet lights to accent the knock out roses and multiple riser lights on every step. "We knew exactly what we wanted and contacted quite a few different builders in Frederick for quotes. Most said it was impossible or tried to convince us to get a more traditional design. Brendan met with us and not only was he the most knowledgeable of the pros we talked to, he immediately told us that he could make it happen without a problem. He gave us some expert advice on how to get the most value for our money, emailed me a ton of photos of previous builds, discussed color choices in detail, and worked up multiple price quotes for our different ideas. We got started a little later than expected (which makes sense due to the pandemic), but it was 100% worth the wait. Rob and the builders were incredible, and were here early each day. They worked so hard on what was definitely a difficult project, and they completed the entire deck and lighting system in 7 days.
